Participants Will Learn How To:

  • Facilitate individual and group sound healing sessions with confidence

  • Safely use crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, drums, gongs, tuning forks, chimes, shakers, voice, and more.

  • Apply sound healing both on and off the body

  • Integrate sound into clinical sessions, like therapy, Reiki, yoga, and trauma support

  • Understand contraindications and safety guidelines

  • Create sacred, culturally respectful, and inclusive healing spaces

  • Honor ancestral sound traditions

  • Regulate the nervous system through breathwork and rhythm

  • Establish boundaries and maintain personal energetic hygiene

Who is this for?

  •  Therapists, healers, yoga teachers, coaches, bodyworkers, educators, birth workers, and anyone interested in sound healing.

What else is helpful to know?

  • Daphne has been incorporating sound in therapy sessions and as a stand alone service for individuals and groups over the past 9 years. 

  • She was a drummer in her high school band. 

  • This training teaches not just how to use sound, but how to do so ethically, confidently, and trauma-informed, especially in clinical or wellness sessions.​

  • This is a lifetime investment.

Your Instructor

Daphne facilitates sound and wellness sessions for universities, schools, organizations, groups, individuals, and incorporates it in therapy sessions.  She has been featured in Psychotherapy Networker, The Fayetteville Observer, and been mentioned on Shondaland.com, in Essence, TheKnot, and People Magazine.

 

Founder of Therapeutic Solutions and Wellness (TSW), a mental health and wellness business in Fayetteville, NC, that was awarded 2018 Fayetteville Observer’s Reader’s Choice Award for Best Yoga Studio.  

 

​Creator of Black Minds in Meditation, a movement that offers black women’s healing retreats, workshops on yoga (meditation/breathing/mindfulness), psychology, spirituality, culture, and other holistic practices for the black/indigenous community.  

 

​​​​​By trade, she is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCHMC) of 17 years, a somatic therapist and yoga instructor, clinical supervisor, Reiki, sound healing and Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) Practitioner, speaker, trainer, author and Certified Daring Way™ 

Facilitator.  

 

Daphne worked in the public school system for 13 years as a special education teacher and school counselor, Student Services and 504 Chairperson.  She has also worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for active-duty service members and their families and with veterans.
